Managed to get in just over 1.5 hours of skiing and was thankful for my tricep exercises last night so that I wasn't as sore maneuvering around with the ski poles. If I could rate tonight's workout, I'd give it a 5 for outdoors, speed, form/strength, weather and friends/fun.
And the hot pot afterwards. So good!
Earlier today, I went to the doctor and found out I am iron deficient. So not only do I now know why I'm always so sleepy, but I guess I can't use "old age" as a major excuse for why I don't feel compelled to party into the morning light (like somebody I know---Ichibum). Even my dog sleeps less than I do. So that will be a new factor in how I take care of myself as we journey forward to this spartan race!
