Modified - Day 9

Took my first iron pill today. It was honestly hard to stomach. For some reason I could taste the iron and I realized then I knew what it was like to be a vampire. I will chase it down with a lot of water and Vitamin C to water it down tomorrow morning. 

It was a good day hanging out with my mom on her birthday. Then dinner with the family and siblings' significant others. We ended the night with some Double Double ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery which is eventually closing down all over Canada. It's good to savor all that must eventually come to an end. 

Was about to get into bed and it just didn't feel right knowing I didn't get a little workout in. Especially since it was another cheat day which included treats.

I put together a short modified workout of lunges/step-back and side lunges, squats, [fake] jump rope, modified push-ups/triceps, Russian twists, bicycles, quick feet in place and lying quad stretches. In all, it probably added up to about 15 mins. I'll give myself 3 stars for putting effort in considering I was doing this in my sister's bedroom with small interruptions. I didn't have weights or a medicine ball either, but now I feel good for getting my heart rate up even if it was just for a short period of time. Back to routine tomorrow evening...!


I promise to do lunges everyday to prevent this from happening!
